Legal Notices: Public Notice Municipal Code Text Amendment Update to the Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Regulations What is this? This notice is to invite you to a community meeting to discuss an update to the Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Regulations for wireless facilities in the public right-of-way. The proposed update is in response to inquiries from cell carriers to install wireless telecommunication facilities in the public-right-of way and pending state legislation SB 649. The purpose of this meeting is to receive feedback from the community in regards to the proposed changes to section 7-3-708 of the municipal code, which addresses city design and concealment requirements for wireless telecommunication facilities in the public right-of-way. Following the community meeting, this project will be reviewed at a City Council public hearing. A separate notice will be sent for that meeting once it's scheduled. Attend the Community Meeting on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Community Room #104 Located On The First Floor Of The Community Services Building at 150 N. Third St. in Burbank. This project has been determined to be Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines as the legislative change will not have a significant effect on the environment. Notice: Pursuant to Section 65009 of the State of California Government Code, if you challenge the proposed project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised at the City Council public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
