Legal Notices: October 12, 2017 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Case Type / Number: Second-floor Review 17-16 Setback Modification 17-09 Applicant: Jay Johnson Property Owner: Seth Ovanespour Site Address: 4636 Crown Avenue NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the Planning Commission of the City of La Caada Flintridge will hold a public hearing to consider a request for Second-floor Review to allow 1st and 2nd-floor expansion of an existing residence, inclusive of a 2-story garage wing to the north. Encroachments by the existing structure and new garage into the required front setback warrant a Setback Modification as part of the project. The hearing will be conducted in the Council Chambers on the lower level of City Hall, 1327 Foothill Boulevard. The Planning Commission convenes at 6:00 p.m. The order of items on the agenda will be determined the week prior to the hearing. Copies of all relevant documents are on file for review during business hours at City Hall. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to speak at the public hearing. Staff has determined that the original project is Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 2.5(a)(4)(ii)(additions) and 2.5(e)(1)(minor variances) of the City of La Canada Flintridge Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA. If you challenge the Second-floor Review, Setback Modification and/or the environmental determination in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
