Applicant: Jay Johnson Property Owner: Dmitry Korshakousky Site Address: 526 Venado Vista Drive NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 20, 2017, the Planning Commission Administrative Hearing Officer of the City of La Caada Flintridge will hold a public hearing to consider a request for a Hillside Development Permit and Second-floor Review to allow a 2-story addition comprising approximately 800 feet at the rear of an existing split-level residence on a hillside lot. Pad area to the rear and along the west side of the house would be expanded to accommodate the expansion and additional onsite parking, necessitating construction of new retaining walls up to 6 feet in height. The hearing will be conducted in the Planning Department Conference Room on the upper level of City Hall, 1327 Foothill Boulevard. The Hearing will commence at 8:30 a.m. The order of items on the agenda will be determined the week prior to the hearing. Copies of all relevant documents are on file for review during business hours at City Hall. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to speak at the public hearing. Staff has determined that the original project is Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 2.5(a)(4)(i)(additions) and 2.5(c)(5)(accessory structures) of the City of La Canada Flintridge Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA. If you challenge the Hillside Development Permit, Second-floor Review and/or the environmental determination in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. The Planning Commission requests that, when possible, correspondence be submitted by the Tuesday preceding the scheduled hearing date. Robert J.
